The FDOT hosted a construction open house on May 22, 2012 at the Siesta Key Chapel, 4615 Gleason Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34242.

Project Overview

• The Siesta Key Bridge was originally constructed in 1972 and is currently in need of rehabilitation.

• Design plans for the project are in development and have not been completed.

• Construction will begin on June 5, 2012.
